Foundation inspection Winnipeg, MB

logo

When we are called in to perform a foundation inspection, one of the first things we look for are cracks. We find these to be more common in older structures, but also are finding cracks in newer homes where the concrete may not settle properly due to the soil freezing and thawing, contracting and expanding.

A foundation crack can occur for many reasons. Poor construction, soil condition/settlements, and act of god [earthquake/frost quake], any of these can cause stress on a foundation wall. Repairing a crack depends on the type of foundation wall and cause of the crack.

What is causing the foundation walls to settle, crack, bow or lose their integrity? What are we expecting to achieve from a repair? When you hire us you hire confidence. Confidence in our experience, confidence in our staff, confidence in knowing that when you come home at the end of the day your project is in the best hands possible.
